Front/Main Gallery: Makeshift is pleased to present, Breaking and Entering, by Emily Gadzinski and Maddie Miller, our first collaborative residency. Through installation, recorded audio, and print media, Emily and Maddie offer an immersive exhibition that explores the nature of personal space and well-being, as well as the potential for their disruption and disablement. Sampled from conducted interviews, audiences will listen to strange and familiar voices as they navigate a bold environment that challenges perception and personal expectation. And in case you missed it last month, Emily Gadzinski, will continue her print sale, in an effort to fund her upcoming internship with Warren Editions in Cape Town, South Africa.
